Sunrise Day Camp Lake Zurich
Sunrise Day Camp–Chicago, a program of JCC Chicago, brings the simple pleasures of childhood back to children struggling with cancer, changing months of loneliness and isolation into summers filled with sunshine, laughter and happiness. And because Sunrise is a day camp, it does all this while allowing the children to continue their medical treatment and enjoy the comfort and safety of their own homes at night.
Sunrise Day Camp–Chicago, a program of JCC Chicago, is a proud member of the Sunrise Association, whose mission is to bring back the joys of childhood to children with cancer and their siblings worldwide. Sunrise accomplishes this through the creation and oversight of welcoming, inclusive summer day camps, year-round programs and in-hospital recreational activities, all offered free of charge.
Eligibility:
Children who are on active treatment for cancer or who have been on treatment within the last five years and their sibling(s) are eligible to attend Sunrise Day Camp.

Camp Kids Are Kids Chicago (CKAKC) is a nonprofit organization. Camp Kesem
Camp Kesem is a free, week-long summer overnight camp experience designed for children ages 6-18 who are impacted by a parent’s cancer. The first Kesem chapter was founded at Stanford University in 2000 as a project of Hillel at Stanford. Since then, we have grown to more than 130 chapters across the country. At camp, we focus on creating fun experiences that help these children escape – even if for a short time – the challenges of coping with a parent’s cancer diagnosis. Campers find adventure and creativity, build trust in themselves, and create new friendships. Many children say that Camp Kesem is the best week of the year, and we agree!

Cooking Camps at Taste Buds Kitchen, Bannockburn
Our kids cooking camps are the perfect recipe for gaining kitchen confidence, learning essential cooking skills and making new friends. From June 10-August 23, budding chefs can experience a new culinary adventure each week, creating both savory and sweet recipes.
Younger chefs, age 4-8, focus on the basics along with kitchen games during a half-day experience offered in the morning from 9:00am-12:00pm. Afternoon campers age 9-13 tackle advanced techniques and culinary challenges from 1:00-4:00pm. Registration is by the week and we hope you’ll join us for multiple weeks.
Ages 10+ can apply to be a Counselor-in-Training for a full day experience from 9:00-4:00. Limited CIT positions are available each week so applying early is strongly recommended.

The Art Center Highland Park – SUMMER CAMPS 2024
The Art Center Highland Park aims to inspire and ignite a passion for the arts through its innovative programs and classes for ages 6 and up. Offering both classes and Summer Camps in a variety of mediums such as Jewelry, Ceramics, Cartooning, and Mixed-Media, TAC provides an inclusive environment where students build their skills while discovering their artistic voices. TAC 2024 Summer Camps will run for 10 weeks from June 10 through August 16, offering 1-week, 2-week, and 3-week camps. Glen Grove Equestrian Center Summer Camp
ONE-WEEK RIDING CAMP: $750 We offer six week-long sessions, three hours each day. Campers ride for one hour; learning about horsemanship, grooming, tacking and safety around horses. The Golf Practice uses a holistic approach to golf training focusing on the whole student and not just swing mechanics. Camp Cuamba for Boys
As a community, Cuamba strives to create lifelong friendships that are generated by bringing together kids of varying ages and athletic abilities through their passion for sports and the variety of activities we offer. Unlike your park district or local camp, Cuamba maintains a small, tightly knit community of no more than 45 campers. This environment enables Cuamba to build one big family, not pockets of friends within a camp of hundreds. As ex-Cuamba campers, all of our counselors can attest that Cuamba friendships last a lifetime. Cuamba has lived on tradition for over 75 years. theCoderSchool Summer Camps
TheCoderSchool camps are great for learning new skills in a condensed period of time. While we’ll do lots of on-computer learning, we’ll also take plenty of breaks, get some physical motion by heading outside frequently (weather permitting), and even do some cool offline coding exercises! For each of our camps, students get to present their creations at the end of the week, with demos to show off their hard work from the week.
