About Shannon: Hi! A little information about me and my experience: I studied French and English at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and went on to do a master’s, also at UW, in French and international business. I’ve taken classes in literature, history, linguistics, business culture, and everything in between. Currently, I work for the French embassy. From my studies and living in France three times (Aix-en-Provence, Bordeaux area, and Paris), I’m fluent in French and have experience both tutoring and teaching. I’ve tutored French students in English and spent a year as an English teaching assistant in France. I tutored privately in Madison as well as through the university tutoring center and programs. I’m passionate about the French language and culture and truly enjoy sharing it.
