Mathnasium is an after school supplemental Math Learning Center. Mathnasium was created with the mission of teaching math to children in a way that makes sense to them. Mathnasium focuses its curriculum on the development of Number Sense –the ability to think mathematically and with mathematical fluency– which is the foundation of math understanding. Using Number Sense and the Mathnasium Method, “Mathletes” learn how to conceptualize math. Mathnasium increases a student’s understanding, skills, and overall math performance, while building a child’s confidence and a positive attitude toward math. TherapyWorks Therapeutic School Program

Our multidisciplinary school prep program merges academics and therapeutic intervention in a play based, supportive environment designed for autistic children ages three to six.
Individualized programming is paired with group activities that will allow your child to connect, play and learn in a supportive small group environment.

Daily activities include circle time, movement, arts and crafts, sensory activities, dramatic play, circle time, music and more! Programs and schedules are tailored to meet each child’s need. Platt Education Advocacy

We will advocate for students and their families when students are having academic or behavioral challenges or if they not showing academic progress. Our main goal is to provide resources and assistance on how to best advocate for your child’s individual needs. We will help you and your family understand the education system and work with all parties to do what is best for the individual student.
The primary responsibility of an Education Advocate is to represent the best interests of students in seeking Special Education support and services under the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act 2004 (IDEA 2004), and Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act.

These services may include:
a) Accompanying you to any meetings with the school, school system or Department of Education(virtual or in-person).
b) Reviewing your child’s educational records and assisting you in understanding what the records indicate.
c) Educating you about both your State and the Federal laws (re) your child’s special education rights.
d) Observing your child in the school and/or home setting and making recommendations @ IEP goals, services and placement.
e) Assisting you in identifying additional resources such as private evaluators, therapists and psychologists that may be able to further assist you.

At Art of Problem Solving, our mission is to discover, inspire, and train the great problem solvers of the next generation. We help students develop the problem-solving skills they need to confidently tackle challenging problems—and not only in mathematics. Over time, we’ve expanded into subjects like physics, programming, and language arts. Across different disciplines, our approach is to help students build a deep foundational understanding of a few critical concepts that they can then apply across a wide range of problems. Students are encouraged to play, experiment, fail and persevere—building the flexibility, creativity, and determination needed to confidently tackle the tough problems they will face as adults. Students learn in different ways, so we offer resources in a variety of different formats, and we’ve built a community where students can connect and collaborate with their peers. We hope to keep growing this community of interdisciplinary problem solvers to be ready for the complex ideas that are yet to come.
