Are you or someone you know experiencing grief from the loss of a loved one. @willowhouseil offers grief support groups like the Expressive Arts Support Group for children. Please call in if you would like to attend and have not yet registered at 847-236-9300. Visit https://willowhouse.org/ for more information.

Willow House is a local 501 c 3 organization with a mission to provide free grief support to children, families and local schools.

Willow House is the official nonprofit partner of Chicago North Shore Moms. "This mission is very important to me because, as you know, I lost my mother to cancer at the young age of 12. What I remember most about those first few years after my mother’s death is the crushing loneliness I felt. At the time, I didn’t know a single other person going through what I was—so I hid from everything and everyone. My father later enrolled me in a grief support group for youth, and a few months later I began to feel like I could rejoin my teenage world again, albeit a bit differently, of course. Grief support means giving a person another chance at life." - Ellie
