Hi Aga! Please introduce yourself. Where are you from originally? What city do you live in now?
Hey there North Shore community! I’m Agnese Zdanovska, originally from the beautiful country of Latvia in North Europe. 🇱🇻 I made my way to the USA as a student and instantly fell in love with the country and its warm-hearted people. Now, I proudly call the North Shore home, where I’ve carved out a life filled with love, family, and a thriving cleaning business, Moore Cleaners.
What brought you to USA and then to North Shore?
I came to the USA as an exchange student, and my studies initially brought me here. Over time, I fell in love with the country and its people, leading me to make the decision to stay. My first host family resided in Highland Park, and later, I moved to Northbrook, which ultimately brought me to the North Shore region.
And your family?
I’m a proud mama to a beautiful teenage girl who is incredibly passionate about volleyball. You’ll often find me on the sidelines, cheering her on at tournaments every weekend. It’s a role I cherish and a community I’m grateful to be a part of.
What are one or two fun facts to know about you?
I’m a fitness enthusiast who finds solace in Pilates and yoga classes. And when it comes to unwinding or indulging, you’ll catch me savoring local delights, like the amazing Kansaku sushi or a relaxing glass of wine at Cooper’s Hawk Winery.
What gets you through a tough day?
On tough days, a good cup of coffee and a moment of mindfulness, whether through yoga or meditation, always help me reset and refocus. It’s all about balance, right?

I launched Moore Cleaners a while ago, driven by my passion for educating parents, moms, and friends about the importance of what we eat, how we clean our homes, and the impact on our environment. What led you to specialize in clean chemicals, and what sets your products apart from traditional cleaning solutions?
My commitment to specializing in non-toxic cleaning products stems from a belief in creating healthier environments. These products set me apart by prioritizing safety without compromising effectiveness, providing clients with a greener, safer, and equally efficient cleaning solution.
What has been the toughest aspect of owning a business? And what is the most rewarding thing for you?
The toughest aspect of owning a business is the constant hustle and challenges that come with owning a business. But the most rewarding? Knowing that my services bring happiness, satisfaction, and chemical-free cleaning to my clients.
Has your daughter been involved in or influenced by your business in any way?
Yes, my daughter has been exposed to my business, and she sees women as great leaders and business owners. This exposure has contributed to building her strength and confidence.
