Let It Shine is a drive-through light show in Northbrook where you can experience synchronized lights to all of your favorite Holiday tunes! The event takes place in the west parking lot of Northbrook Court Mall and a portion of proceeds will benefit the Chicago North Shores Kellogg Cancer Center.
We had the chance to attend the preview this week and it didn’t disappoint! While restrictions are becoming tighter and gatherings put on hold, this was the perfect 2020 way to kick off the season in the comfort of your own vehicle! Bonus- you don’t have to brave the cold!
Our suggestions- go on a weekday when crowds are light, and pack snacks + something to make it feel extra special! We made cookies, bags of a popcorn mix, and picked up hot chocolate on the way. They danced out of the sunroof & windows, and loved the lights! Plus, our pup was able to join in on the fun! All in all it was a quick night of family magic that you have full control over- in a time when that’s hard to come by.
