Wine Women & Shoes (WWS) for A Safe Place is an annual, high-energy, philanthropic event in Lake County, IL, featuring wine tastings, fashion, and shopping to raise funds for survivors of domestic violence and human trafficking. The 10th anniversary event on May 15, 2026, at the Lincolnshire Marriott Resort, supports A Safe Place/Lake County Crisis Center’s emergency shelter, counseling, and legal advocacy services for victims of domestic violence and sex trafficking.
