North Shore Art League’s 14th Annual Art in the Village 2026
Art in the Village, sponsored by the North Shore Art League, will take place in Hubbard Woods Park, Green Bay Road, Winnetka on Saturday, June 13 and Sunday, June 14 from 10 am – 5 pm. NSAL, celebrating over 100 years of art in the community, is proud to promote this annual juried show. The park is a beautiful setting for a summer art fair – in the middle of the Village’s
Hubbard Woods Design District. This boutique exhibition will feature over 70 artists’ booths from across the country showcasing their work, including oil paintings, mixed media, photography, sculpture, and more. As an added attraction, on both Saturday and Sunday, faculty member and portrait artist Lisa DePinto will be on-site to paint quick oil portraits. This year’s silent auction will feature artwork donated from participating artists. In addition, a raffle with generous prizes donated from local businesses will make this another memorable weekend for the North Shore community.
NSAL has remained dedicated to its mission of ‘enriching the human spirit through art education and exhibitions.’ Founded in 1924 by artists who wanted people of all ages in their community to benefit from the arts, the cultural impact of the League continues throughout the North Shore and beyond. The second floor of the historic Community House in Winnetka is home to the majority of the League’s programming. Most classes take place in our large studio with a skylight taking advantage of the North Light, built in 1932. The League’s diverse class and workshop schedule balances traditional art topics (Oil Painting, Pastels, Colored Pencil, Pen and Ink, Watercolor, Mixed Media and Drawing) and a NEW Ceramics Studio for Youth and Adult classes.
The North Shore Art League would like to thank Byline Bank (our lead sponsor), the Hubbard Woods Design District along with local partners – the Village of Winnetka, Winnetka Park District, and Winnetka/Northfield/Glencoe Chamber of Commerce. Your support is vital! As a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that receives no tax support, The League depends on your donations to maintain the yearly operations of our classes, exhibits, and events.
