Catchers Alley

True to the mission of Catcher’s Alley, our private instruction is customized to each player based upon our evaluation and the goals of that player. Lessons are led by experienced coaches utilizing technology (HitTrax, video, etc) and infused with LATAM-style passion and focused skills training. Available as a package or individually, the goal of our lessons is to create a measurable development plan and track improvement across conditioning, throwing, hitting or fielding goals.

At theCoderSchool, we want to do more than just teach coding. We want aspiring coders to use their new found passion as a stepping stone to thinking outside the box, as a way to channel their ideas in a creative way and most importantly, to have fun.

Goldfish Swim School- Evanston & Goldfish Swim School Northbrook

Goldfish Swim School is a premier learn-to-swim facility dedicated to teaching children as early as 4 months how to swim and be safer in and around the water! We’ve created an inviting and safe environment where kids can overcome their fears, learn to swim, and have tons of fun doing it. Because drowning is the leading cause of death for kids age 1-4 and second for kids 5-14, our mission is to educate and provide children with the life saving skill of swimming. At Goldfish, swimmers experience constant encouragement, a warm pool, a tropical themed space, and so much more!

Foss Swim School

Our purpose is to make people of all ages safer and more confident around the water. We help our students become strong swimmers with our personalized Swim Path® curriculum that lays out a path of skill progressions based on age and ability. We teach quarterly, so our students are taught in small classes with the same teacher and peers all quarter long to ensure consistency. Since 1993, hundreds of thousands of our students have graduated to become safe, strong, and confident swimmers – and your swimmer can be next!

Irina Makkai Classical Ballet and Dance School

Our school has been the North Shore’s Premier Dance School for over 38 years. Founded in 1984 by Irina Makkai, our school offers classes in Ballet, Pointe, Jazz, Modern, Tap and Pre-Dance. The school is the recipient of the Mayor’s Award for the Arts for our instruction and contribution to the arts in Highland Park. Home of the Ballet Makkai Nutcracker and Ballet Makkai Youth Company, we have something to offer everyone. Specializing in the Russian based Vaganova Method; we offer individualized attention to each of our dancers. Our award-winning staff of professional dancers includes dancers and directors from the Joffrey Ballet, Ballet Chicago, Lyric Opera, River North Dance Company, Hubbard Street Dance Chicago and more.

JET Hockey Training Arena

JET Hockey Arena utilizes a Studio Rink, allowing players more puck touches and forcing faster decisions, for a unique development system which also offers video review opportunities, one-on-one assessments, clinics, camps, 3x3s. The off-ice training facility is designed and set up specifically for hockey development.

In Canada and Europe, many players hone their skills by playing for hours with friends on frozen ponds or lakes. At JET Hockey Arena, we recreated the pond-hockey environment, allowing Illinois players to gain the same benefits from the smaller venue, which aids in developing the most important skills like timing and spacing, deception, puck possession, stick- handling, and skating agility. If a player is successful at JET Hockey Arena, their skill set easily transfers to a full sheet of ice.

Sarah Hall Theatre Company fosters a creative and nurturing environment for students of all ages throughout the North Shore and Chicagoland area. Taste Buds Kitchen

Young foodies ages 6 to teen gain kitchen confidence in our weekly after-school cooking classes designed for hands-on learning and fun while nurturing an essential life skill. Junior Chefs is a 1-hour, skill-based class for ages 6-10 (Mondays at 4pm) or 9-13 (Wednesdays at 4pm) and Let’s Make Dinner (Mondays at 5:30pm) is a more advanced 2-hour cooking series for tweens and teens ages 9-17 to create a homemade dinner for themselves with a focus on more in-depth knife skills, fundamentals of seasoning, marinating, sauce-making, working with proteins, and more! Now registering for Fall 2023 with classes running from Sept 11-Nov 20. Winter & spring session dates coming soon!

Ultimate Ninjas North Shore

Ultimate Ninjas offers a variety of classes for kids that focus on developing physical skills and building confidence in a fun and motivating space! Ninja training is an amazing and challenging way to help your child build self-confidence, personal fitness, and agility – preparing them to reach higher than you can imagine. They offer a great way for children to stay active and build a sense of accomplishment. Most importantly, it’s a lot of fun! Lil Ninjas classes are a great way for younger ninjas to get the wiggles out, have fun and feel great about everything they accomplish!
