Open Play: Gym Jam Ages 0-5 @ North Suburban YMCA

Jam is a FREE parent/child open play gym for members and only $5 for non-members. Beginning Jan. 10, 2024, every Wednesday and Thursday 10-11 am and 2:30-3:30 pm. Please check in with our front desk staff when you arrive.

Gym Jam is a safe and structured free play space for children ages 0-5 years old. This is not a drop-off program. All children must be accompanied by a parent or caregiver. Parents and guardians are encouraged to participate with their little ones. Gym Jam is a great way for families to connect and make new friends while you and your child can be active and have fun.

Play-based learning is important and beneficial to a child’s overall development. Free play strengthens brain development and creativity and allows children to practice self-regulation and independence. Play- based learning enhances social and problem-solving skills along with developing their physical abilities.
