Lake Forest: Trick-or-treating is October 31 from 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM

Pumpkin Fest @ Lake Bluff Middle School, October 23 10:00 AM: The Lake Bluff Public Library is eek-tastic to partner with the Lake Bluff PTO for Pumpkin Fest this year! We’ll have a spooooky good time creating pumpkin crafts at the event. Decorate your foam pumpkin with fun knick-knacks and stickers.

 

Trunk or Treat @ Christ Church, October 24 3:00 PM – 4:00 PM

 

Boo in the Square trick-or-treating and costume contest @ Market Square, October 28 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM

 

Halloween Tricks & Treats at the recreation center, October 29 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM


 

Highwood: Trick-or-treating is October 31 from 3:30 PM – 7 PM

Trick-or-Treat Highwood starting at The Bank of Highwood, October 28 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM: FREE Glow in the Dark SWAG Bag!
Coloring Contest and a special Trunk or Treat in The Bank of Highwood – Ft Sheridan‘s Parking lot.

 


Highland Park: Trick-or-treating is October 31 from 3:30 PM – 7 PM

Highland Park Hauntings @ Larry Fink Memorial Park, October 21, 5:30 – 8:00 PM: The Haunted Trail includes live characters, moving props, and spooky music. Parental discretion is recommended for little ones. Event could be cancelled due to inclement weather. Children must be accompanied by an adult.

Ages: All Ages | Fee: $20/$25 per person (resident/non-resident)

 

Pumpkin Paintings @ Madame ZuZu’s, October 22, 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM: Paint,Brushes and one Pumpkin will be provided with every ticket. Painting Pumpkins will be a blast for the family and an easy decoration for Halloween!!

Ages: All Ages | Fee: $8

 

Downtown Highland Park Trick-or-Treating, October 27, 3:00 – 6:00 PM: Enjoy trick-or-treating at participating Downtown Highland Park businesses, including special activities at Port Clinton Square and Renaissance Place.

 

Drive-in Movie @ Rec Center of Highland Park – Hocus Pocus, October 27, 6:00 – 9:00 PM: Hop in the car and cruise on over the Recreation Center of Highland Park for our Drive-In Movie series! Tickets must be purchased in advance. View the movie inside your car, or bring lawn chairs to sit outside your car. Sound played via loud speaker, no transmitter.

Ages: All Ages | Fee: $30 per car

 

Ravinia District Candy Stroll, October 28, 2:00 – 5:00 PM: Visit participating Ravinia District businesses for trick-or-treating and activities!

 

Halloween Railroad – All Aboard!, October 29, 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM: Families are invited to stop in and watch model trains travel around the “Spookytown” tracks, decorated with Halloween scenes and figures.

 

Scary Miniature Golf @ Rivers Edge Mini Golf, October 29, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM: Come out in costume and receive a free round of miniature golf.

 

West Ridge Trunk or Treat @ West Ridge Parking Lot, October 31, 10:30 AM – 11:45 AM: Welcome all little ghosts, superheroes, pop stars and professionals! Our preschool trunk or treat will take place in the West Ridge Parking lot and lots of goodies will be shared!

Ages: All Ages | Plan to park in the north lot and walking the south lot with your children.


 

Glencoe: Trick-or-treating is October 31 from 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM

Village Hall-oween @ Glencoe Village Hall, Friday, October 28 from 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM: Celebrate Halloween early in Glencoe! Stop by Village Hall in your costume for a spooky family-friendly experience, special treat and visit with Family Service of Glencoe for even more fun from 1-5 p.m.

 

Boo Bash @ Takiff Center, October 28, 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM: The Takiff Center transforms into an eerie playground where kids can trick-or-treat, enjoy shows, witness spectacles, participate in Halloween activities, and enjoy other spook-tacular surprises! Be sure to wear your costume. Recommended for ages 2-8 with an adult. Everyone who attends must pay.

Age: Recommended for ages 2-8 with an adult | Price: $10/12 R/NR PER PERSON
