Most of us live in a place of constant stress, whether we realize it or not. Our sympathetic nervous systems – that part of us responsible for fight or flight – seems to always be ignited. This leads to higher levels of stress, increased cortisol in the body, and ultimately dis-ease, be it in the form of physical or mental discomfort, or actual sickness.
During this 45-minute session, expect to take time to pause, breathe, and rest your system so your parasympathetic nervous system – rest, relax, calm mode – turns on. Together we’ll learn simple breathing techniques, a variety of mindfulness tools, and simple ways to meditate no matter where you are, to bring more calming vibes into your life. Even if you’ve never meditated or believe you “can’t,” this session is sure to prove the opposite – that you too can find ways to come back to the present moment in favor of a healthier body, mind and spirit. The session will close with a brief sound bath to help keep that relaxation going well beyond our time together.

Sandra is a holistic mind, body and energy coach who supports her clients with a variety of modalities – coaching, meditation, yoga, and energy healing – so they can live their most balanced and fulfilled lives.
Sandra fell in love with yoga in a run down yoga studio on the Upper West Side of NYC in 2007, the same day her childhood dog was put to rest. That day she found an epic release on the mat and never looked back. In 2012, she became certified in yoga and meditation through Yogaworks, and since then has gone on to earn countless certifications in the holistic wellness space including 1:1 & group Co-Active Coaching, Reiki, Oracle reading, sound healing and more. Sandra offers her services from a trauma-informed lens, creating warm and welcoming environments for all clients.
SKM Wellness was born out of a desire to create a safe space for you to slow down so you can rise up – living your most intentional life.
