A concept by Janea Harris of Insight Advocacy, who collaborated with photographer Diana Gran to recreate historic photographs of dynamic Chicago legends: Oprah Winfrey, Ida B. Wells and former President Barack Obama featuring Highland Park youth. The final photo showcases dynamic children as they are in their everyday lives, Dynamic with Unlimited Potential.
The inspiration for the series and Insight Advocacy is to provide visibility for children of color, those who often go unseen in their own communities. A beautiful representation of culture, beauty and strength that highlights the potential that all young people possess.
The Art Center of Highland Park is open to the public daily 10:00 am – 4:00 pm (closed Sunday) with free admission
