As summer days shorten and night starts falling earlier, join us, the sunset, and perhaps a few last fireflies to delight in the science of glowing magic! In this science-magical celebration of light, kids will investigate living glowing fungus to learn about bioluminescence. We’ll learn about plants, animals, and crystals that glow under UV light. Then, wearing magic wristbands that identify us as wizards or werewolves, we will race to hunt for glowing crystals of Earth, Air, Fire and Water, using UV flashlights to follow luminescent clues!
Pre-registration required. All participants, children and adults, must register for the program. Children must be accompanied by a paid registered adult. Program is outdoors so please dress for the weather.
