Celebrate MLK with Chicago Children’s Museum

January 18 @ 11:00 am - January 19 @ 12:00 pm

In Chicago Children’s Museum style, celebrate MLK Day on Monday,
January 18, 2021 at 11am CT
to learn how Dr. King used his words and actions to stand up against injustice and help make the world fairer for all people.

“During this one-hour presentation, we’ll explore some of the big problems Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. wanted to solve, and we’ll learn how the struggle for fairness and justice continues today. Children will explore how they personally can play a role in treating others with fairness and kindness. Activities will include listening and viewing a story, live conversation, writing, and drawing.

The program is designed for families with children ages 4+, but all are welcome.”

Chicago Children’s Museum also put together an awesome list of resources to talk to kids about race.  Find it here!
