Take time to celebrate, reflect and learn during Black History Month.
Black history is a part of our shared history every day of the year. Black History Month, Feb. 1-March 1, 2022, is a time to step back and more specifically acknowledge the centuries of broad and vibrant contributions Black Americans have made to our culture, the arts, politics, and social justice movements.
To celebrate, the Evanston Public Library has a special collection of programming to highlight these contributions and support the Black community. Take a look at just some of what’s going on in the coming weeks:
