Candlelight Vigil in support of Ukraine @ Highland Park City Hall
March 12 @ 5:30 pm - 6:30 pm
In solidarity with the Ukrainian people and in support of Highland Park’s Ukrainian community, the City of Highland Park will host a candlelight vigil on Saturday, March 12, beginning at 5:30 PM at City Hall (1707 St. Johns Avenue.) The ceremony will include a moment of silence and a reading of the English translation of the State Anthem of Ukraine. Guests will be invited to join Highland Park’s Ukrainian community in singing the State Anthem of Ukraine as the flag is raised. The City has also illuminated City Hall in the colors of the Ukrainian flag. For those who are unable to attend the vigil, the ceremony will be livestreamed on the City’s Facebook page.
