Skip the fringe and create an accurate 1920s look for Halloween during this three part series. In week one, learn to make a genuine 1920s dress using Mary Brooks Picken’s infamous (and highly adaptable) one-hour dress pattern. In week two, explore 1920s hairdos. Finally, in week three, complete your costume with a 1920s makeup-look, then celebrate your accomplishments with mocktails. A basic understanding of sewing machines is needed for the one-hour dress class. All supplies will be provided. If you’d like to choose your own dress fabric, please bring three yards of 44-inch wide (or wider) non-stretch cotton fabric. Participants can choose from enrolling in individual courses, or sign up for all three for a discount.
